Howie, Stinky, and Alphabot are back for more zany fun in two new great
adventures from 7th Level.
The Great Math Adventure and the Great Reading Adventure deliver solid
educational content disguised in hours of wacky fun and games.
The Great Math Adventure for ages 6-9 covers many concepts including counting, number patterns, fractions, time, calendar, and addition through division. Lil Howie along with Stinky and Digibot (alias Alphabot) blast asteroids, super soak monsters, and build a room using fractions. In Catch-A-Match children match equations with answers along with host Lil Howie and "Vanna Stinky?". You have to see it to believe it. In the Great Reading Adventure Stinky (Howie's skunk pal) is ejected from his seat, chased by a shark, pressed by an octopus and sucked into a giant pipe organ. Through all these antics kids learn reading comprehension, alphabetizing, word families and real phonics. Many programs claim phonics, this one delivers by verbalizing consonant and vowels sounds and blends. The recommended requirements for both programs are 486 with 66 mhz and at least 8 MB of RAM, Windows 3.1 or higher. At KIDS CLICK we played them on a 75mhz Pentium with 8MB and the transition time was rather slow, but once inside the games the speed was acceptable. These titles are not available in MAC yet but should be in the future. If you would like some more information on these programs or any other 7th Level titles check out www.kidsworld.com or come by KIDS CLICK SOFTWARE to try them out yourself. The great news is the price on both titles just dropped to SRP $19.99. They can be purchased at KIDS CLICK SOFTWARE, COMP USA or directly from 7th Level on their home page.
