 Paradox
7 is the current release of Borland's database product for Windows 95 and
NT. It was released in December of 1995. As a stand-alone database it has
all the features you have come to expect in the 32 bit operating arena.
Standard Windows95 compliance gives you the familiar look and feel as well

| It is backwards compatible to previous releases of Paradox.
It is cross compatable with Pro, Lotus 1-2-3, and Dbase. You can cross
data via Access provided you convert it to Dbase or text-delimitted data.
OLE2 object-embedding is supported which you can also use for cross-applications.
"Experts" similar to the Microsoft Access wizards are available at each step to assist in creating various portions of your database including tables, forms, queries, charts and reports. Right-click menus are enabled which assist in ease of operation. There are twenty templates in the database expert you can use to auto layout fields. For developers, the object browser helps in finding and reusing chunks of code from one section to another. OBJ Pal scripting lets you further customize applications. The greatest enhancement experts are found in the developer end of Paradox and here it shines. Objects and controls have 'experts' which automatically assist in generating code for these parts of your application. If you currently use Paradox 5 and are comfortable with it you'll appreciate the advances and enhancements in this edition.
