Let me quote a paragraph from the forword and introduction to you:
It starts with the "Ten Top Tech Terrors" list and shows you where to find the answers and through out the book it has pages of "Frustration Busters" These are wonderful for I remember stumbling my way through many of these problems hit or miss. Don't misunderstand, I am an avid Win95 supporter, but I think the road to using this enhanced platform should have been better documented by Microsoft, but then we would not have this excellent, in depth reference book.
I think the book is great....I wish I knew all the information provided here, so let me give you a few of the Tips from the book itself..some basic and some more complex.
Tech Tip: If you install Win95 into a new folder you will have to re-install any Windows applications you want to use with Win95...If you install into your current Windows directory or folder, you will replace your current version of Windows and it will be no longer available.
Can I install Windows95 on my Power PC? No Windows 95 is designed to run only on Intel Based Computers. This means you cannot install it on computers using PowerPC or DEC Alpha Chips.
When I am running an application, why does my Task bar sometimes disappear? The Auto Hide feature is enabled. Go to your Start menu and select Settings. Deselect the Auto Hide Box.
To delete a file and NOT send it to the recycle bin, highlight the file and hold down the shift key and press the Delete key.
The book goes on and on into one eye opening tip after another, with very specific steps outlined...I don't think a serious Windows 95 User should be with out it.
This book is published by Osborne-McGraw
Hill and lists for $19.95.
