By following the easy setup procedures, installation was a breeze. Start Windows, open the program manager, open the file menu and choose Run. In the command line, type D:/Install, or the drive where your CD-ROM is located, and then follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.
The program is interactive and easy to follow. Each self massage technique contains five steps with each one starting with relaxing and standing or sitting. Then imagining an energy ball in your stomach the size of a tennis ball. After that, Steps 2 through 5 vary.
Mentioned earlier, there are ten different ailments to choose from. For example, if eye strain is bothering you, then click on eye strain. An instructor's voice guides you through self massage techniques to relieve eye strain. A video is also displayed showing you which pressure points to massage and written instructions appear on the bottom of the screen. Additionally, pressure points can be seen in more detail on a full screen. In two of the steps in this exercise there are different pressure points listed. The first one is displayed, to view the other one, press next to see it. For eye strain, the pressure points are BL2 and ST2 in Step 3 and BL2 and TB23 in Step 4.
It seems as everyone has some type of allergy. The EZ - Relax Massage suggestion for allergies is to start with
Having wrist pains? Start by relaxing, standing or sitting down and imagining the energy ball in your stomach. Step 2 requires dexterity in that you have to raise your left foot above your right knee. Coordination comes into play when you use your left thumb, index and middle finger to rub GB40, ST41, and LIV4. Also simultaneously rotate your right wrist for 16 times. Then switch legs and repeat. Step 3 involves interlacing your fingers and rotating your wrist from inside to outside eight times. Step 4 says that if the pain is in the right wrist, use the base of the left hand and rub the right wrist 16 times. Finally, in Step 5, use your left thumb, index finger and middle finger to rub your right wrist 16 times, making the wrist area warm. Then switch hands and repeat.
One of the drawbacks is that when EZ - Relax Massage tells you do to do a self massage exercise for a specified number of times, it only shows you once and then goes on to the next step. I think the program would be more effective if the entire massage process was done in synchronization with the demonstration. Of course, pause or stop can be activated while performing the stated massage technique.
